All you need to do is place the ring on a plate and fill it carefully with your ingredients, then carefully remove the ring for an elegant finish. You could layer rice with roasted vegetables or slices of cooked aubergine with ratatouille. You can also use the rings to press shapes out from potato dauphinoise or lasagne.
